The Universal Thumb Support is low profile and made of a stretch neoprene with a bendable metal stay that limits radial and palmar abduction of the CMC joint and flexion and extension of the MCP joint. The UTS gently places the thumb in position of function, is easy to fit and allows performance of routine tasks in comfort, while limiting the extreme motion of the joints of the thumb. It places the wrist in a neutral position and abducts the thumb.
